At Georgie Girl, we are always on the look-out for beautiful things to inspire our fashion lovers. A simple outfit can be perfection by adding just the right necklace, bangle or earring set. I personally never leave the house without earrings! (If I was a tad younger I might say the same thing about a nose or lip ring I suppose...)
The opportunity to partner with Izak, founder of Full Moon Jewellery is exciting for us! Our customers love to be able to discover locally made Okanagan one-of-a-kind jewellery items, and Izak's colourful and distinctly unique necklaces, bracelets, earrings are killer.
Izak Michaeli, founder of Full Moon Beads and Jewellery, hails from Russia before moving to Israel with his family at an early age. He has been living in the Okanagan with his wife and two sons since 1996. Izak has traveled extensively to many far away lands including Japan, Asia and South America.
For many years, Izak owned and operated a popular jewellery kiosk in Orchard Park Mall full of gorgeous sterling silver and semi-precious stone baubles.
Izak's wanderlust and his eye for the natural beauty of elements - stone, brass, silver, gold, crystal and gems - is his inspiration for his brilliant designs.
Izak studied at New York Institute of Art to develop his jewellery design skills. His quiet and meticulous manner of creating and displaying his nature oriented jewellery draws attention to the art, not the artist - he is humble and understated as a person but his mind is creating on overdrive.
Izak is an expert regarding all aspects of jewellery. His knowledge of stones, findings, elements and design is profound. His professional skills in remaking and repairing jewellery is reknowned in the Okanagan - if you have any questions or need a remake or a repair, this he can do for you!
